Atlas Jury President of the 26th Arras Film Festival (2025)
Born in 1977 in Lille, he graduated from HEC Paris and Sciences Po. He began his career at the Ministry of Culture, producing and directing documentaries focused on architecture. After founding the production company Année Zéro, he directed several short films before making his feature debut with Terre battue (2014), selected for the Venice Film Festival.
He continued with Allons enfants (2018), a documentary featuring his own children, and solidified his reputation with La Fille au bracelet, a legal thriller that earned him the César Award for Best Adaptation in 2021. His next two films—Borgo (2024) and L’Inconnu de la Grande Arche (2025)—further cement his status as a leading figure in French auteur cinema.
