SYNOPSIS
1815. Jean Valjean sort du bagne, brisé, rejeté de tous. Errant sans but, il trouve refuge chez un homme d’Église, qui vit avec sa sœur et leur servante. Face à cette main tendue, Jean Valjean vacille et devra choisir qui il veut devenir. Un regard nouveau pour comprendre le personnage de Victor Hugo et comment il est devenu un symbole de justice et de dignité.

SYNOPSIS
1815. Jean Valjean is released from the galleys, broken and rejected by all. Wandering aimlessly, he finds refuge with a man of the Church, who lives with his sister and their servant. Faced with this act of kindness, Jean Valjean wavers and must choose who he wants to become. A fresh perspective to understand Victor Hugo’s character and how he became a symbol of justice and dignity.
