SYNOPSIS

In July 1914, an ocean liner sets sail to scatter the ashes of a famous opera singer in the middle of the sea. But the solemn voyage is soon disrupted by the rescue of Serbian refugees, whom an Austrian battleship later demands to reclaim. An ironic and disenchanted allegory about the end of a world.
